Emma is an art and drama practitioner based in The Vale of Glamorgan. Her background is Foundation Art at Newport College, Fashion Design B.A. at Trent Polytechnic and various training in acting. One of those was attending L’Ecole Philip Gaulier and has been trained by some of the best clown practitioners in the country.“The pure enjoyment of clown/play is definitely a big part of my drama teaching “. She has worked as an actor, dancer, illustrator and make-up artist. Worked several years teaching drama at The Sherman Theatre for The Young People’s Theatre.
In recent years Emma has been involved with the Arts Council Lead Creative Schools, working in a school in Swansea as a drama practitioner. Worked as an exhibit designer and maker for a Windrush project for Valley and Vale Community Arts. Chosen to be one of four for Hobbycraft’s ‘Paper Design Team 2019’. Worked with Breathe Creative and Ty Canna Mental Health Outreach Services delivering adult and family craft sessions via zoom.
Emma is currently working as an art practitioner for Breathe Creative working with Tracy Pallant on ‘Capturing Moments’ project. Also delivering art/craft family sessions via Facebook live for lottery funded HAPI project.
