June Campbell-Davies

June Cardiff Based, Trained at the Laban Centre for Movement & Dance in London. And her early experience working with Moving Being Mixed Media Theatre Company, Dance Wales, Cwmni Dawns Gwylan, Welsh Independent Dance and Cwmni Whare Teg all contributed to her  development as a Dancer, Choreographer. 

She has worked in higher education teaching students at Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Cardiff Metropolitan University and for Rubicon Dance full time students, youth dance course and Adamsdown Elderly outreach programme.

Since SWICA (South Wales Intercultural Carnival Arts) folded in 2015, her experience in  Carnival Arts as consultant & facilitator has lead to new collaborations with Butetown Carnival/Eisteddfodd ‘Carnifyl Yr Mor’ and also Wales Millennium Centre’s performance engagements under themed‘ Banquet.’

Work with Valley and Vale under the Directorship of Alex Bowen and now her new Company Breathe Creative, June has worked on several projects with Katja Stiller involving dance in schools,  community documentary video and  led movement sessions at Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend with Parkinson & Stroke patients alongside Nick Clements. Recently working with Ruth Bradshaw, Jon Ratigan with people living with physical and learning disabilities using the media of Song, Dance & Art.

June continues to perform with Striking Attitude – Dance Company for senior performers. And in 2016 she worked with National Theatre Wales Site Specific Production in Rhyl North Wales– lifted by Beauty/Adventures in Dreaming. 

At present June works with Oasis One World Choir & Band leading movement sessions with Refugee & Asylum Seekers alongside Singer Songwriter Laura Bradshaw and Tracy Pallant, Filmmaker and Administrator.
