Sarah is an artist and writer based in Cardiff. She qualified as a nurse and worked in rehabilitation at Rookwood Hospital, and on the district in Llanrumney and Ceredigion. She gained an MA in Creative Writing in 2006, and since 2018 she has been a tutor for Cardiff Council’s Disability Inclusion Community Education programme facilitating Creative Wellbeing courses and a children’s Art and Storytelling course. She has been involved in many community arts projects from Lead Creative Schools, to working with Katja Stiller and participants from Ty Canna Mental Health Outreach Service to produce art for an animation. She is also part of the Changing Voices project at Wales Millennium Centre.
Sarah works in a range of media: printmaking, painting and text, often combining these to make digital collages that reflect her love of mythology and surrealism.
