Katja Stiller

Katja worked for Valley and Vale Community Arts  for over twenty years , she received a Creative Wales Award from the Arts Council of Wales for the development of Person-Centred Creativity, working safely with vulnerable people using the arts and a person-centred approach. 

Katja specialises working in Arts and Health, with people who have been through trauma, experience stress, anxiety and or depression. Publication of Person-Centred Creativity Book by Nick Clements, Rhys Hughes, Katja Stiller. Together they run many courses for artists and health and social care staff. 

Katja has facilitated film projects in partnership with Barnardo’s SERAF Services, Ty Canna Mental Health outreach Service, Teenage Cancer Trust, Cardiff and Vale Eating Disorders Service, Women’s Aid and many more. 

Throughout the pandemic Katja is facilitating creative wellbeing sessions online. She also works for part-time for CUBE, a community project in Barry.
